5th Annual Midwest Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics
This year, CWRU is hosting the 5th Annual Midwest Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (MCUWIP) this January 13th-15th. This conference is aimed at introducing females majoring in physics or interested in physics or related fields to successful female scientists, and will include career panels, graduate student panels, a Keynote address by Persis Drell (SLAC), lab tours, and presentations by various female physicists. Student Activities Fair and SatCo
Hello to all returning and new members of PAC! PAC will be hosting two events during the New Student Welcome Days. Saturday 8/27, PAC will have a table at the Student Activities Fair where we will be handing out information about our group and liquid nitrogen ice cream! Come to our table to cool off and sign up for our mailing list.
After the SAF, we will be hosting a SatCo, where you can learn how to use Case's 9.5" telescope and get certified to operate it. The class will be taught by our telescope manager. You can learn more about the SatCo and register at Student Affairs.
