The Case Western Reserve University Physics and Astronomy Club is an academic organization, sponsered by USG, whose main purpose is to promote interest in physics and astronomy to all members of the CWRU community. Club membership is open to all members of the CWRU student body and all meetings will be open to all members of the CWRU community.


2013 Spring Trip Information

Our spring trip this year will be to Kitt Peak National Observatory, from March 10-13, 2013. Come to Prof. de Rham's talk "Our Expanding Universe" on November 28th for more info!

Hello and welcome back to all new and returning members of PAC! See below for info on our first two events of the semester!

SatCo
Did you know that Case has its own 9.5'' telescope located on top of AW Smith? Learn how to use the telescope and get certified to operate it. The training session is provided by the Astronomy Department telescope manager and PAC members. Learn more and register at Welcome SatCo.

Activities Fair
Join us at our booth at the annual USG Student Activities Fair to find out more about PAC. This year, the fair will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012, starting at 11:30 A.M.

5th Annual Midwest Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics

This year, CWRU is hosting the 5th Annual Midwest Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (MCUWIP) this January 13th-15th. This conference is aimed at introducing females majoring in physics or interested in physics or related fields to successful female scientists, and will include career panels, graduate student panels, a Keynote address by Persis Drell (SLAC), lab tours, and presentations by various female physicists.
